On August 5, 2022, the "Bethune Cancer Foundation and Translational Medicine Frontier Forum" hosted by the First Hospital of Jilin University was held in Changchun. Professor Huang Canhua, our tutor, was invited to attend the conference and give an academic report.

Professor Huang Canhua detailed the concept change of oxidative stress and tumors under the title "Oxidative Stress and Tumor Development", pointing out that the process of tumor cell stem maintenance and drug resistance is accompanied by the fine regulation of the antioxidant system. He proposed to focus on the new use of old drugs and find potential drugs targeting oxidative stress, providing a strategy for the clinical treatment of advanced refractory tumors.
