2021.02.04 Our student Ming Hui's review was published in the international academic journal

On February 4, 2021, Ming Hui, a student from our department, presented a paper entitled "Long non-coding RNAs and cancer metastasis: Molecular basis and therapeutic implications" in Biochim Biophys Acta Rev Cancer. Tumor metastasis is the bottleneck of tumor therapy, but the current research progress is still very limited, and it is urgent to use new methods and ideas to target tumor metastasis. Among them, the epigenetic modifications may play an important role in all stages of tumor metastasis, and as one of the most important epigenetic regulation factors, lncRNA can serve as pathway regulating factor, inducing combination, the forerunner and architecture regulate the expression of tumor metastasis key molecules and degradation, which affects all aspects of tumor metastasis. Although the clinical application of lncRNAs is still very limited, we are pleased to see that some lncRNAs, including CCAT1, HOTAIR, etc., have entered clinical trials as markers. In this review, we systematically summarized the cutting-edge research on the regulation of tumor metastasis by lncrnas and prospected the prospect of clinical application of targeted lncRNAs.
